The K9 Bravo Police Dogs was a collaboration fundraiser between the East Side Partnership and the SPD to raise money. The Foundation is a continued supporter of the K-9 unit’s officers and K-9s. The K-9 unit is a program that always garners a lot of community support as well.
Great Program Deliverables
With targeted donations from the community, as well as Foundation support, we have been able to provide
- Bulletproof vests for the K-9s
- Targeted Training
- Uniforms for the K-9 handlers
- Supplies such as collars, leashes and training toys.
The SPF along with the East Side Partnership provided initial funding for the K-9 programs and continues to support their activities.
