The Stamford Police Foundation is alerted to needs within the Stamford Police Department and we work with the community to make it happen. 2024 was an active year with the following initiatives. Understanding Program Needs
The Stamford Police Foundation Board comes together to assess requests, search for fundraising opportunities and work with the community to come together for the Stamford Police Department. They could be something as simple as two treadmills to being an active and proud sponsor of the SPD Basketball Fundraiser. Each year presents new challenges but our strong board comes together each and every time.
Training and Resources Play a Key Role
To stay on top of the continued training and advancements in tactical gear and training, the Foundation is always keen on that does the future hold to keeping the Stamford Police Department always a step ahead. We look to fellow municipalities for best practices and are an active collaborator with the Police Department to make each purchase the best.
